As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Patrol Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained 2 citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan on drug charges.
The following individuals are detained on charges of illegal purchase, storage, preparation for sale of large and especially large amounts of narcotic drugs by a group with a prior agreement, as well as illegal purchase, storage and preparation for sale of marijuana: R.Sh., born in 2000, and S.Sh., born in 2000.
The committed crimes envision up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
As a result of a personal search and search activities held in vehicles of those arrested for drug offenses, officers of the Patrol Police Department seized 34 packages of "Methadone" and "Dried Marijuana" as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 260, Parts III and VI of the Criminal Code of Georgia, as well as Articles 18-260, 273 (1) and 18-273 (1).
